Stéphane Erissé is a first-generation vigneron in the Loire Valley. He produces wines under Domaine Andrée, named as an homage to his late grandmother. Stéphane had a successful career in international construction, but after 15 years of heavy business travel, he began searching for a new path that closer to his family. In 2008, he dove into his new craft, and spent the next few years apprenticing under notable winemakers around France, formulating what would eventually become his unique approach to viticulture and vinification. In 2011, he acquired multiple plots in Saint Georges-sur-Layon, all of which had been organically farmed for over 25 years. Insistent on upholding a direct connection, he meticulously completes all the work by himself. Stéphane’s wines are products of his attentive craftsmanship and innate sense of precision.
