Domaine Montrose

Olivier Coste has a very deep and ancestral connection to the Languedoc. Himself, his father and 7 generations before them have lived on this land and are historical pioneers in making wine in this region.

Olivier and his farther Bernard purchased Château des Adouzes in 2018. The estate, located in the medieval village of Roquessels is in the heart of the AOP Faugères appellation. This little Languedoc appellation is entirely made of the rare and sought out soil, schist. Traditional varietals thrive on hillsides at 200-400m. This terroir provides minerality and freshness to the wine it yields. The tiger represents power and balance, a trait linked to the wines themselves.
