Dominique Andiran
Dominique Andiran of Domaine Haut Campagnau is a free and independent spirit, a warm soul, and a unique vigneron with an earnest drive for experimentation. He is located in Montréal du Gers, a small commune in Gascony. This one-time ski and sailing instructor, who prefers to go by “Domino”, became fascinated by winemaking in 1988 after helping his uncle pick that year’s harvest. His uncle producing only a small amount of wine, mostly sold the grapes. Dominique eventually took over the estate in 1999. Working under the Vin de France appellation, Domino has the freedom to push natural winemaking in a region that has historically stayed conventional. His application of low intervention wine making, alongside a strong focus on farming, lead to wines that are of a true character.
